The entire event (spanning the course of 3 days) was a smashing success.

Around 60% of the total North American eZ partners attended including one of our South American partners!

The advanced training was an eye opener for many on how to use advanced extensions to implement specific solutions. eZ systems will be providing presentation materials shortly.

The partner meeting was very informative of current and future developments regarding all things eZ. And the after party and breakfast was filled with wonderful conversations between partners individually and with the eZ crew.

You could see many partners building stronger relationships with other partners during their discussions throughout the entire event. I look forward to working more closely with the North American partners who participated in the event to bring increased value in the solutions delivered, together than each could individually (on their own)

Unfortunately the audio recording of the presentation and discussion was so unintelligible it is not able to be cleaned up (multiple problems).

We will look into repeating the presentation and recording it for sharing online with the community. We will also prepare an audio recording setup specifically tuned for recording events of this nature in the effort to be better prepared for high quality recording to be done without the problems experienced in the past. This will most likely become something along the lines of a portable podcasting gear and being better prepared to ‘get it in one take’.

Jan even caught my (I admit) somewhat intentional spacing implementation (confusing, over complicated) during his review of my (and other’s) qualms with eZ publish rss.

Now it turns out I don’t have write access to trunk (thank god?) so I must inquire a little further about who can commit this change for me.

Update: This patch was commited in /stable/3.7 rev. 14342 and trunk rev. 14343 as documented in the commit log and bug report entry (see comments)
